Valley of Flowers – the paradise for nature lovers, situated at an altitude of eleven thousand feet in the lap of garhwal Himalayas. Frank Smyth, a mountaineer explorer in 1930, discovered Valley of Flowers. This U shaped alpine valley, formed by retreating glaciers, remains snow covered from November to May. When the snow melts in june, the entire valley blooms with exotic flowers, herbs, medicinal, and flowering plant At an altitude ranging from 3,350 m to the peak of Gauri Parbat at 6,719 m, the valley of flowers is essentially the catchments area of pashupati river, also known as the Bhyundar Ganga. It consists of glacier corridor, 7 km long and 2 km from wide, with it’s source in the tipra glacier with descends from Gauri Parbat.
DAY 01Upon arrival at Delhi transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02
In the morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar. Lunch enroute. Upon arrival at Haridwar transfer check into the hotel. In the evening visit "Har Ki peri" for Aarti ceremony. Back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
